PASSIVE VOICE


ACTIVE / PASIVE VOICE. In most English sentences with an action verb, the subject perfroms the action denoted by teh verb. These examples show that the subject is doing the verb's action. Because the subject does or "actsupon" the verb in such sentences, the setences are said to be in the active voice.


SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

1. Indinesia needs many powerful young man
    Passive : Many powerful young man are needs by                          Indonesia

2. She posts the story every day
    Passive : The story is posted by her every day

3. The teacher teacher english once a week.
    Passive : English is taought by the teacher once a                             week

4. We do exercises every day.
    Passive : Exercises are done by us every day

5. The professors plant the rice at the top of the                   building
     Passive : The rice is planted by the professors at the                        top of the building


SIMPLE PAST TENSE

1. The student created the blogs yesterday
    Passive : The blogs where created by the student                             Yesterday

2. The principal told the students to be good students
    Passive : The students were told to be good student                         by the principla

3. Many singers sang the song
   Passive : The song was sung many singers

4. She typed the letter last night
    Passive : The letter was typed by her last night

5. We left the gate open
   Passive : the hate was left open by us
